Abstract

Queer Skin was a multidisciplinary exhibition dedicated to exploring the diverse world of queer identities and celebrating the beauty of bodies in all their forms. Through a captivating array of photography, sculpture, and mixed media, our visual artists emphasized the notion that every body tells a unique story. The works presented challenged conventional beauty standards, illuminating the beauty found in what are often deemed „imperfect“ bodies.

In addition to visual art, performance played a vital role in this exhibition. During a vibrant runway show, the creations of queer designers took center stage in a spectacular display whilst being shown by models from our community. Musical artists, including Sorvina and Goldie 333, moved the audience with their performances, whilst many stayed dancing late into the night to what our DJs had in store.

Queer Skin celebrated boldness, tenderness, and everything in between, setting the bar for what we want to create in the future.
